Will the gold plating wear off?
With normal daily wear, no. The 18k gold plating is bonded over stainless steel — that combination holds finish much longer than gold-over-brass or gold-over-copper pieces. Avoid spraying perfume directly on it and remove it before the shower or pool for the longest life.
Will it turn my skin green?
No. The stainless steel base doesn't react with skin the way cheaper metal alloys do, so no green marks even on warmer days.
Can I wear it in the shower or at the pool?
You can wear it through a quick hand wash or rain shower without an issue. For longest life, we recommend removing it before pool, ocean, hot tub, or long hot showers — chlorine, salt, and prolonged heat dull most plated finishes over time.
